Kahve Cafe Slc Information

Walking into Kahve Cafe Slc at 57 S 600 E in Salt Lake City feels like stepping into a cozy neighborhood spot that locals quietly treasure. The location itself is convenient, tucked into a lively yet relaxed part of the city, making it an easy stop whether you’re starting your morning or settling in for a slow afternoon coffee. The atmosphere leans warm and inviting, with a mix of soft lighting, comfortable seating, and just enough background buzz to feel alive without being overwhelming.

The menu focuses on café classics but with thoughtful touches that make a difference. Their coffee program stands out right away, with well-balanced espresso drinks that show care in preparation. A simple latte comes with smooth texture and rich flavor, while their Turkish coffee offers something a bit more distinctive, bringing a deeper, more traditional profile that’s not always easy to find in the area. It’s clear they pay attention to sourcing and technique, which lines up with what you’d expect from a café that takes its identity seriously.

Food options are modest but satisfying, leaning toward light breakfast and brunch fare. Items like pastries and small plates pair naturally with the drinks, and while the menu isn’t extensive, it feels intentional rather than limited. Everything I tried tasted fresh, and portions were just right for a casual café setting rather than a full sit-down meal. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a quick bite or linger with a second cup without feeling rushed.

Service adds to the overall experience in a subtle but meaningful way. Staff interactions feel genuine rather than scripted, and there’s a noticeable familiarity with regulars that gives the place a community vibe. Orders come out efficiently, even during busier periods, and questions about the menu are met with helpful, informed answers.

Reviews from other visitors tend to echo similar impressions, especially when it comes to the welcoming atmosphere and quality of the drinks. While it may not be a large-scale dining destination, that’s part of its charm. Kahve Cafe Slc fits perfectly into the category of a reliable, comfortable café where consistency matters more than flash, and where the experience feels grounded in simple, well-executed details.

What People's Say About Place

This is just the coziest, colorful, warmest home to enjoy Turkish style small foods and drinks! This was my first time trying this cuisine and it did not disappoint. Elif, the owner, has really transformed this gorgeous Victorian home into something truly unique in SLC. There’s multiple floors that you can explore and enjoy her artful taste in decor. My husband and I loved everything! The Turkish tea, Turkish coffee, Asure, Sutlac, and Borek were so delicious for a light breakfast. I really can’t wait to come back to try the Turkish traditional breakfast tasting she hosts!

Kahve Cafe SLC is an absolute standout. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it truly feels like a neighborhood gathering place. Elfin is an amazing owner—kind, passionate, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door. You can feel the care that goes into every detail, from the drinks to the vibe. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a while, Kahve Cafe makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful local spot.

Sweet lil café eclectically decorated! It was nice to hear about the specials and cool to see the Turkish coffees and moon milks being made in front of us! I really liked the rose and pistachio baklavas and it complimented the coffees too — both not too sweet. Will have to return and check out all the floors and spaces to work

Found out about this Turkish coffee shop from IG and decided to follow. Dang…where have I been? I used to live near by this place and don’t know about this. It’s so cute and homey. I can sit and enjoy talking to my friends or just working here if I still live close by. The staff are nice. Turkish coffee was good and the baklava is probably the best I ever had in my life (I usually find baklava too sweet for my liking but not at this place). I also got black tea cake and lavender cake. They are not too sweet as well but I can see why some people find it’s a bit dry (I think it’s just the style of cake). Their savory bakeries are also good. Will definitely come back and recommend this to anyone

If you took a U of U PhD student in International Composting Theory and somehow morphed them into a coffee shop, you’d get Kahve Cafe SLC rich, earthy, thoughtful, and eclectic. The vibe is amazing: relaxed, creative, and welcoming. The staff are kind and helpful mostly without any pretense. Their Turkish coffee (brewed in hot sand) is a must-try, and the moon milks especially Cardamom Rose and Blue Moon are not something you'll find elsewhere in town. Also recommend a borek or vegan baklava to go with your drinks.

The Turkish coffee was very good and rich. It was coffee I could actually drink without a lot of sugar or creamer. However, the drink I had was the Warm Vanilla with coconut milk and I got it cold. It was so good, especially if you like vanilla. They had just three milk options and I am allergic to two of them, so it might taste even better with one do the other two option I highly recommend the Pistachio baklava, it was the perfect blend of everything. The place was spacious and full of rooms to sit in. It was very spiritual with lots of things like tarot card readers, beads, crystals, but with a blend of Turkish garments and furniture. It is a very unique experience and is worth a visit.

Literally the coziest cafe in salt lake! The soups are delicious and the baristas are so kind. Great vibes for reading, studying, and catching up with friends. I always recommend this place to friends. And I don’t normally write reviews…..but I want this place to stick around for a long time. Go check it out and support local businesses!

Such a charming place. I had the cardamon and rose milk tea and it was delicious. I also had the pear and brie pastry and it was just as good and I forgot to take a picture. They have great food and so much to choose from. Everything made in house from what I could see. Definitely a must try!
